Brandi passante gained fame after she was featured on A&E's "Storage wars' reality show that starred Jarrod Schulz. Both gained mainstream recognition through this series. On the show, the contents of storage units on where rent hasn't been paid for a period of three months is put on auction. Brandi and Jarrod of the Now and Then Thrift Store in Orange California took part in the show in hopes of acquiring affordable storage units. The couple had no idea that the show could make reality stars out of them! It was a huge success because the couple, who were very tactful with their bids during the show and became celebrities. Their success in the show's reality competition helped them expand their business. They also opened a second store in addition to one they already run. Their appearance in 'Storage Wars' also inspired a spin-off program 'Brandi & Jarrod Married to the Job' exclusively focusing on the couple.
